because you need to convert them into ipod format. And even before that you may need to decode them so that the computer can rip it.

try DVD decrypter to rip the file from the rented video..then convert the file to ipod format using Videora ipod converter..add the converted file to your itunes video lib and sync it to your ipod..hope this answer is helpful..you need to install DVD Decrypter and Videora ipod converter in your computer

You need software to rip content from DVDs out to your computer. You can find freeware to do so, for example Handbrake, etc. And them convert the ripped files to the formats that iPod support (MP4, M4V, etc.). Also there is freeware can manage that like SUPER.
