Is it normal to react like this when woken up?

I was sleeping in class one day you will probably think im gay or some crap but I was in ROTC class and we were learning how to command your squad and some stuff.. and I fell asleep and I was dreaming of some war episode of WW2 and all of a sudden my Sargent. woke me up with a ruler and slammed it on the desk hard a VERY loud SMACK and I woke up saying “LEFT FLANK!!!” pretty loud..now im just asking if this is normal..that was embarassing.

yea I was all freaked out..this happens to me sometimes..I was wondering if something was wrong with me so I came here. because this site helps a lot =] thx

im sorry…but I think your story is kinda funny!!! I don’t think there is anything wrong with you, I do that sometimes too! ( im not in the army though)

You were probably just tired…In dreams people’s minds wonder aimlessly. Its normal
