Is it weird that I only have 1 female friend?

I never gave this much thought til it was recently pointed it out - I have mostly male friends. I am used to hanging out with males and feel more comfortable talking to them. I only have 1 other good female friend. I find it very hard to get along easily with other girls and find myself making male friends more easily. My boyfriend is the one who pointed it out as he thinks its weird. Do you think it’s weird? If so, how can I make female friends more easily? It’s not like I can go up to random girls and say “Hey can we be friends?” lol. I just find other girls (that I know of) a bit b*tchy & superficial, but I know they can’t all be like that…

no I dont think its wierd at all if you find that you make friends more better with males then females keep it like that. my mum has always said that male friends are better then female friends

You know, some girls are just not “girl-girls”.

I know what you’re saying, because I was always the same way - I could always relate more to guys than girls, and even my girl friends were very tomboy-ish.

It’s not unusual, and it’s not wrong. You’re just not a girly-girl :)
