Is it pregnancy or just the pill

My girlfriend has been on the pill for about a month now…a week ago we had unprotected sex but I didnt cum at all…she now has started to bleed brownish blood…its not a whole lot like on her period tho just a significant amout but yeah brownish blood and has had cramps and headaches and now feels like throwing up sometimes…its like the symptoms on pregnancy but I have found out that taking the birth contrl pill gives you much of the same symptoms pregnancy gives you so I want to know if shes pregnant or if its just the pills that are causing this…and she took a test today and it was negative…but its been a week since we had the unprotected sex which it might not be enough time to get enought hcg hormone thing…so just let me know what yall think..if shes pregnant orif its just the birth control pills causing all this…thank you

the brown blood is either old blood or has come into contact with air when air comes into contact with blood it can turn brown, and even black and having unproteceted sex, or any sex can cause some air to get pushed in her vagina as for the symptoms at one week after sex she wouldnt have any and it may be the pill thats causing them however to find out if she’s pregnant tell her to take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after she had sex (any sooner and the results won’t be accurate) in the morning with her first pee is the best time and take it when her period is due alternatively, see a doctor for a blood test this will both let her find out quicker and give her more accurate results
