well ya, I mean if you get rejected it might be because the person doesn’t like you so I guess that would be personally. Just don’t take it upon yourself too harshly

Most people take rejection personally. That’s just the way life is. A healthy person, however, is likely to pick themselves up fairly quickly, realize that there are other possible alternatives (like the person had other things going on, etc), or realize that one person having an issue with them might not be a pleasant thing, but it is tolerable because everyone in the world does not have to like you, or agree with you, and they move on… It takes a healthy self esteem and self concept to be able to do that all quickly. I tend to take things pretty personally. Working on it though…
