Honestly, she wanted you to insist that you cover the whole bill. She wanted a little bit of a fake argument over it. She was probably trying to be polite, and you were sopposed to stop her. But she might really just be a strong willed feminist - so DONT get into a heated argument over it. If she really, really insists on paying, let her.

what, so what if she paid, who said guys are supose o pay for everything? I mean really, because that b a stupid rule, because your go broke paying for everything, any good, and smart girlfriend/boyfriend wont let one of them pay for all, yes every now and then is perfectly fine, but not all the time. Me and my girl talk and agree on whos paying, and or how much, so if she paid like that thats fine,

Was it a first date? I think when you’re first getting to know a girl, you should pay when you go out. But after a few dates, start taking turns paying.

But then again, I pay for most of the dates me and my boyfriend go on…I even paid for our first date too. Maybe that way, the girl appreciates it more when once and a while, out of the blue, the guy takes care of the bill.
