I agree with Dhooni, the most important thing to do is to stay in school while you have the time. It is much more difficult to get back into school while you have to raise your baby. While you have the time now you can keep yourself busy and finish the last few months you have for school. The more you finish the better, trust me.

If your reasons for leaving include being embarrassed, ashamed, angry, etc, then their are always alternatives such as attending night classes or going to a school for other pregnant women in your situation. By attending a special school for pregnant students you will have something in common with them and won’t feel left out. By having other peers who are in the same situation as you, it will get you through this time easier and will be helpful in the long run. These schools will provide classes that can prepare you for motherhood as well as your typical math, english, history, etc. These schools almost always provide daycare for mothers who have given birth. For help in finding the schools closest to your home talk with guidence counselors or any school social workers. You’ll be surprised at how much they can help. Good luck.

Even if it is legal I don’t think it is a good idea to drop out of school even if you are pregnant. Get you friends and family to help you. It always harder to go back to school than to continue and finish what you already started. You can be pregnant and still continue your normal routines. I understand that this will be hard and people may look at you differently but part of growing up is living with your choices and making the best out of what life gives you. Giving up on school now is not the best start for your baby. Gather your family and your friends togeather to support you during this time and also talk to your advisors at school. People are more understanding than you can imagine and if you step to the plate and take responsibility for yourself and your new baby people will not only go out of their way to help you but they will treat you with respect. Good luck and hope this helps. Either way your advisors at school will have all the answers.
