The title says it all I'm bi but no one else in my family is and they say it ginetic
Honestly this is a complicated question. There are studies that link sexuality to genetics (I.e. it was something you're born into, in your DNA) but nothing is purely genetic... even those studies show that all identical twins arent the same sexuality... And most of those studies focus on homosexuality... Bisexuality is not something researchers study too much... But it is thought that a lot of it is genetics... (also, no one else is as far as you know...)
Nope, sexual preferation definitely isn't genetic. There are many families that are strict about men and women strictly being together then down the road someone turns out to be gay and that person ends up being completely pushed away from the family, it's sad really.
Yeah, I agree with ichi. It's not genetic but in my opinion(and in the opinion of some studies), your sexual preference and identity is determined before birth.
I wouldn't say it's 'genetic', but it is something you're born being.
its not a choice its somethimg you feel you cant help it
