Ipod and Itunes help

I have an 80 GB Ipod Classic and my computers hard drive is also 80 GB I have movies on my itunes/ipod but I do not have much memory left of my computer but I want the vids to still be on my ipod. Is it necessary to keep the movies on my computer in order to keep them on my Ipod? If I delete them will the next time I sync videos on my ipod will the ones I deleted be removed? Please help.

I have the exact same thing (iPod and computer with the same GB) and I am downloading two movies right now. And I don’t know what that guy (^) is talking about, but on mine, in order to have it come up on my iPod, it has to be on my iTunes. Once you delete it from your iTunes, the next time you sync, it will not show up on the iPod. What I do, since I am running out of “disk space”, I go through all the files and stuff that I don’t need/will never use. It makes more room for the movies that I want. That guy (^) could be right. I don’t know, I just know this from my own stuff.

And there is actually a way to get more memory onto your computer is your big into computer tech and stuff like that. Hope I helped a tad.

If you delete one copy (either computer or on the ipod) you’ll still have the other one…read carefully the next time you synch, as it’ll prompt you, and you can easily accidentally overwrite the stuff on the ipod if you just copy everything from your hard drive again.
