I had a trip to the gynecologist today and he told me that if a women has a very upset stomach or is vomiting and on the birth control (I.e. there is a chance that she might be vomiting it out etc.) then there is an option for women to take it vaginally. (He didn't recommend it for every time though)
I just found it interesting and was wondering if anyone had ever heard of this before and it if worked for them? I haven't.
I've never heard of it but it would make sense because if a woman on it has diahreah or throws up within 4 hours of taking it it wont be absorbed, and therefore wont protect against pregnancy but as the first person said, it would be a good idea to get some other opnions from a few other doctors/gynacologists
I havent heard about this at all. I would really ask some other doctors about this subject as well. That seem risky as well as questionable in many ways.
if your sick there is a chance it could not work but I don't think you can take the pill that way they are for oral use only
I've heard of it but somtimes it can cause infections. I've never tried but my mom did. She was in the ER for 3 days.
