Im young and there aren't a lot of jobs

Where can I find a job at 14 working with animals..I’ll do anything involving animals?

Answer #1

Most states you need to be 16 to work at a paying job. I made money by mowing yards and asking neighbors if I could wash their cars. Good to see there are kids willing to work for a living.

Not many places hire at 14. Most places want you to be 15 with a worker’s permit.

At 14, you’re probably not gonna find a job working with animals. Places usually want people that have been through a lot of training or vet school. But you could volunteer at your local animal shelter. You don’t get paid, but volunteering is fun! I volunteer all the time.

Don’t worry about not getting a job. No businesses are hiring anymore. Even my dad can’t get a job. You’re still a kid. Enjoy it. But once summer comes and school’s out.. jobs will be everywhere. Wait ‘til then. That’s what I had to do last year. Because most places don’t hire ‘til 15 or 16.
