When did your and your parents have the "sex" talk?

When did your and your parents have the “sex” talk?

Answer #1

lol ya I basically have been teaching myself too. Ya I dont really even want to have that talk

Answer #2

My parents spoke to me and my brothers when we were about 9 or ten years old. The main reason I’m am educated about sex and other issues is because my parents always spoke about it.

I even remember that the first person I asked what a blow job was was my mother. lol

Answer #3

see mikeh look at all the other advisors who commented on this questionthey are all acting nice and not bad twords me

Answer #4

At the time I posted my response, your profile said you were born in June of 1991. This information has since been mysteriously removed. So how old are you?

Answer #5

Okay, there’s something strange going on with your posts. You say you’re 18 years old, but yet you just started your period last month and you’ve never talked to your parents about sex? When were you really born? Because it sure as hell wasn’t 1991.

Answer #6

Try bringing it up to them because some parents dont no how to start it off other then “ARE YOU HAVING SEX” lol

Answer #7

o wow that is pretty young. ya thanks

Answer #8

When I was like 5 or so I use to always go into my mom things and find condoms. My mom told me at that age. Just so I wouldnt try to snick and do things. It might was too early but im a lot more mature when it comes down to sex unlike most girls my age.(17)

Answer #9

We never did, and I was a teen mom.

However, I don’t intend for my children to make the same mistakes I did…my ten year old (youngest) understands far more than most of the teens on this site.

Answer #10

It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve acted contrary to what the other advisors did. I doubt it will be the last.

If you can cite specifics on how I “acted bad,” please feel free to Funmail either thedude or editor, and they will handle it accordingly. But so far, all I see that I have done is question your stated birthdate, which you yourself have already admitted to be falsified, so I’m not sure what kind of a case you plan to craft.

Take care.

Answer #11

My dad is too shy to discuss it. My mom began explaining the basics when I asked her anatomy questions (about age 9) She had ^the talk^ with me when I was old enough to make mistakes (12-13) I might regret later, like being too much in a hurry to grow up and practice what is best reserved for the mature and responsible. She was always handing me articles from reputable magazines about everything from pregnancy to STD’s. I was lucky. We still discuss everything. I’m glad to have had a parent who was dedicated to me being informed. My friends felt comfortable coming to her with their questions too.

Answer #12

my parents and me arn’t very close, we sometimes watch tv at the same times and have dinner together but thats about it. they never told me about sex.. I guess I taught myself, I know quite a bit about it, and I guess I’m a mature guy about that subject, like I know that if I ever knocked up a girl (never gonna happen at this day or age) that I would tay with them, pay for everything… etc… and to respect the relationship I’m in and not to two time. all that kinda stuff but me and my mates just talk about it,talk about how good its goona be, if it might be the best thing ever, etc. and when we have the conversation with the girls in our class, well that just the funniest thing. none of my friends have been told, and never will be. we teach ourseves lol.
