Im falling for my best friends fiance

Me and my best friend have been friends for years and she met this really lovely caring respective guy and they have been engaged for about a year now but he talks to me and texts me like im the one engaged to him and im falling for him I tried not to by not talking to him for ages and it didnt do any thing I am really scared for what this may do to my best mate help!
