If my cockapoo eats his poop will he get sick?
He not even 3 months old yet , just afraid he might get sick
its just a habit and no he won’t get sick but you need to break this habit before he gets older and it turns from him eating his poo, to him eating other animals poo. now that might make him sick. he also may not be getting enough esstinals( spelled that wrong) from his diet. try slowly switching his food to a better brand.
Dogs eating their own poo is usually an indication of boredom or some sort of deficiency. Make sure that he gets in all the nutrients that he needs and gets regular walks.
No, he won’t get sick, but it really isn’t good for him to do that. You can buy pills that will keep him from doing that. Also, you can feed him a few pieces of pineapple each day, I’ve heard that will make them stop.
