I don't know what to do
in a week I am going on vacation to block island it doesnt have clear water but I got my period and I am not aloud to wear tampons mi mom said just to wear a pad but I was wondering if the blood will leak out I have like a dark bahtingsuit and I also have boardshorts wats your opinion???
well the best way is to use a tampon. there isnt any real reason you shouldnt be aloud. but do not wear a pad as it will leak and pads have small jell crystals in them and they absorb moisture and will cause jelly to come out of the pad it its submerged into water
I agree the pad would just soak up water so it wouldnt help you much my advice is avoid water or ask your mom for tampons maybe if you’re going with friends ask one of them to bring some or bring money for some cause they sometimes have those little machines with tampons in like hotels and stuff best of luck!
when you go into the water, the pad will soak up all the water, so really you would be wearing the pad for nothing - it would just be a wet mess. I would just avoid water altogether for the heavy days, and do this maybe for the light days. Or, try to convince your mom to use a tampon just this once!
