I want to know if boyfriend my is a virgin but I don't know how to ask him

ok so we were sitting on his bed one day and he got all quiet and he was like I have a creepy question for you but you would prob not answer it so I was like c’mon just ask it so he did and it was “ do you know what fingering is?” and I was like yea.. then he said “do you play with yourself?” I refused to admit it but I eventually did and then he was like “ do you want to?” and I was like NO WAY!! well ever since that day I have wondered if he is a virgin or not and I don’t know how to ask him about it! I just want to know.. he asked ME if I was, and yes I am.. I just don’t want things to get weird or anything.. so what do I do?? how do I ask him? do I state it directly? should I ease into it? please please help me out people!!
