I want to get a webcam

I want to get a webcam but how do I go about asking my parents? etc. without them freaking out or anything

If your responsible with your webcam and have no intention in doing anything silly or provocative on cam, I don’t see why your parents would freak out…Just try to limit doing cam 2 cam with friends you actually know or hang out with offline that way your parents dont have to worry that a dirty perverted man is looking at your webcam.

If trust is an issue with your folks, maybe place your computer in the kitchen or lounge where they can see what your doing, and once you have earn their trust, you can always take your pc back into your room.

I think webcam are awesome, especially when you in MSN.. You can see each other whilst typing away in private messaging and when your on Facebook, you can record yourself doing silly facial expressions or show your friends clothes or new hairstyles and get their opinions before you head out.

I presume that would be using it on msn or skype or something like that just prove to them there safe and only people you know on there like friends from school and such and they should be alright

and if she gets caught using it and she hasnt asked and they didnt even know she has one then shes gonna be in loads of trouble isnt she and they would take it off her then thats 50-60 dollars down the drain im not a “goodie goodie too shoos” I simply think things through more than most people which seems to include yourself dunno why I presumed you were a she just thought that most parents would be more worried about their daughters using a cam loll
