I want purple in my hair

well you can go t a drugstore and buy a bleach highlighing kit but make sure it comes with a highlighting cap and it had directions and you will have to bleach you hair, and wash it out when you are done but you have to keep the cap on wait for your hair to dry, with the cap on still. and then you can put the purple dye on the bleached highlights

—colors only show on light hair, that is why it needs to be bleached

or you could go to a salons and getit done, but that is more expensive

ok first highlights are not 15 bucks. If you live in miami and you need a hair dresser and you can get to miramar in (broward county) email me I will send you to my moms salon. I did pink highlight on my 5yr old daughter. but just alittle cause she is to young. if you are going to do it your self be careful b/c you can stain you hair when you put bleach even with a highlight cap. and you can get your hair purple but to be on the safe side have someone do it for you I can walk you through it. go to Sally Beauty supply . if your hair is dark by the powder bleach with peroxide 40, that will lighten you hair .get the hair dye the color purple make sure it is not the one that is semi permant. then it will wash off. buy a shower cap at sallys that is clear, get the pin to pull out the hair from the highlight cap, then buy the cap to do highlights. with the cap you will have to have your hair detangled and dry not wet hair nor notty, put the clear shower cap on your head on the top leaving thebottom part of hair down like if you are wearing a hat then put the highlight cap on then you are going to see a lot of holes on the cap the are going to pull out hair from there only where you want highlights then once done you are going to put bleach on the that is on the top of the cap wait till it turns blond once blond then you will rinse make sure it does not have no black hair all has to be blond. once rinsed only the top towel dry then mix the color puple like it says in the bottle then you are going to put tha color on your hair once purple you can wash off then take the cap off and was the whole hair and see your work if you dont want a lot of purple on you hair that is not you best bet, part your hair and in 3 (like if you are going to do a half pony tale and the top pony tail part it in 2 like f you are going to do 2 pony tails ) do it 1 by 1 with aluminum foil but you will have to take a comb that has a pointy end and the back pony tail start from the bottom part it like at least 2 inches and the with the end of the comb skip one part of the hair to the next depending how thick you want them once you have that part of the hair that you want colored grab aluminum foil put it under the hair that is going to be colored and put bleach remember you have to mix the powder beach with the 40 peroxide once you mixed the bleach they are going to put bleach on the hair you just parted by skip one to the next you are going to put peroxide on it once the whole part of that hair you wanted has bleach on it cover the hair by folding the foil going up then move on to the next part of the hair you want colored try to make it even by then grabbing from the back pony tale take another 2” and repeat you are going to do that only to as much as purple you want on yoou whole hair. once you have your piece of hair that you want purple with bleach and with foil you have to watch it to make sure it is getting blond the make sure there is no black hair on the pieces that you want purple once it is really blond get a wet white towel and remove the bleach 1 by 1 make sure you dont wet your whole hair with the towel once you removed the bleach with the towel on all the hair you want purple you are going to mix the color purple with peroxide what ever it says on the bottle. then you are going to get aluminum foil again and verything that is blond you are going to do the same thing like if you are putting bleach but this time it is with the color purple you mixed up do not put bleach with the color disregard the bleach only working with the purple. same steps as if we are going to do the bleach but you are going to put the color purple on your hair that is blond or almost white the then cover the strips of hair with the foil same routine you are going to keep checking the foil to make sure it is grabbing its color it will take like 15 to 20 mins to get its complete purple color once it is completly purple you can go ahead and wash you whole hair and you have your purple highlights.

and I think I should add that the highlighting it is only like 15 bucks at the most
