my dad has a type of cancer in his stomach and he now is in his final stages and we are tryin to do anything in our power to help him but is there a way to cure him he is in pain and wishes every night for god to take him but then he also dont wanna go because he wants to be there for his kids so if u have any idea of a way to cure it please share
Dear lokerzo, We at FunAdvice are deeply sorry to hear about your father's condition. You will all be in out thoughts. Is your father in the hospital or at home? Either way he probably needs his pain meds increased. Usually they try to find a balance so that he isn't in pain. I would speak with the doctor about this. He is in his final stages and I'm sure they have given you the approximate amount of time he has left. I have been through a similar thing with my father in law. What we found he enjoyed when we set up a screen and played family movies. You can do similar with taking pictures of your family's home, the family children at play etc. and put them on a cd or dvd and play it for him on the TV. It may make him feel he is still part of the family and is still involved. We spent time reading the daily news paper to him and played soft music in the background. I'm sorry to say he will probably never be cured and there is no magic potion for this. All what you hear about on TV and internet is false or everyone would be cured of cancer and your doctor would have given it to him already. So take the time you have left with him and make him a part of your life as much as you can, don't make his last days depressing and sorrow filled. You will always be glad you shared smiles and laughs with him until the end. Unfortunately we all die but what is terrible is that we never know when that will be. We all hope to learn from this. First of all I would like to say I am so sorry about your father. This must be really hard for you to go through. I'm sorry but I don't think there's a cure for cancer at this point in time. Scientists and doctors just haven't found one yet. All my advice to you is just every single day show your father how much you love him, and spend as much time with your father as possible. Let him know that you love him. I wish all the best to you and your father.
wow, im very sorry u will be in prayers tonight for sure. Im really really sorry. spend every moment u have with him and do stuff he likes to do. Im so sorry!
