I have no idea what to major in

I really am struggling with my life right now. I don’t even have a 2.0 GPA, so I can’t get into the fraternity that I help bring on campus. I wanted to be a physical therapist, but they didnt offer that as a major, so athletic training was the closest. After sitting in two classes of that, I am so lost and so confused. Science isn’t my thing, cause I got a D in biology last fall. I’m really good at Math and computers, but don’t want to be a Math major. I’ve never thought about business.

Answer #1

Breathe. First drop the athletic training class Add another class (if anything add a one credit class just to fill up the space) Then talk to your advisor, or go to the advisors they assign to students with an undecided major and talk to them about your options. This is what they do, give you options for what you can do with the things you are good at.

Answer #2

Basically, you know in your heart what you want to do. Trust yourself. But, make sure you stay in school!! God Bless!

Answer #3

Business Administration is good especially if you’re good at math it involves a lot of accounting and leadership

that’s my major =]

Answer #4

the only thing I can suggest is to take a couple of weeks to go further with the class you are in. A few weeks won’t change your life if you then decide to change majors. Talk to as many adults in the field as you can.

Answer #5

then don’t drop it just yet!! Keep going for a few more weeks. Maybe this has just been a bad week for you and it will get better.

Answer #6

Sit back and breathe. You can’t tell a lot from just two classes. If you want to be a physical therapist then athletic training is close isn’t it. Don’t make a big decision when you are in a fog. Wait for it to lift.

Answer #7

yup, agree with kerfrog. what about computer major?
