What are some resources to find a stable job with a weapon charge?
I was convicted with a weapon charge. I have graduated from University, and I have excellent knowledge in Accounting and Marketing, My interests are History, reading and exoctic fish. It is extrememely difficult to find a job. I go to 2nd and 3rd interviews, and then they run a backgorund check, and I dont get hired. I have never hurt anyone in my life, and made a stupid mistake in helping another student alter a gun for his personal use. I am extrememly reliable and a hard worker. Please help me with any resources to find a stable job.

To find companies hiring felons in your area, go to http://ww.governmentjobs.com and find your local employment office.
They should be able to put you on the right track to finding a job. I’ve also heard that United Way and the Salvation Army will employ those with felony records.
