be there for your son. spend lots of time with him..let him know that although his mommy isnt with you anymore and you dont get to see him as much that it doesnt mean that you love him any less than you did before! he seems liek a little one..so pay himlots of attention… because you never know how the mama gives him attention.. so do your best to being a daddy. dont worry you’ll work it thru.

you must disipline him when he gets out of control. when you discipline him, time out for instance, NEVER let him out early. You must make sure he does not leave time out, and he serves full time. I don’t know how old he is, but this is an example. you can use these same methods throughout his life with you, just make them age appropriate. Good Luck!! :)

Be a good role model, your son comes first. And no matter how much the mother may piss you off or make you so mad, Don’t ever take it out on the child or use him for collateral. Just be there for him. You need to be the father to him first and the friend second. We all like “cool” parents. but we like the guidance we get from our parents. It will help us and we understand it in the long run.

Don’t ever just walk away! It can scare the child 4 life.
