I cant get over him

I’ve known this guy for about two years now. he moved about 2 and a half hours away at the beginning of this year, right when I began to like him. evenentually into love. we talked everyday on the phone for hours, and we saw eachother about once a month. we knew we liked eachother and talked about it every night, but we never went out. he didnt want a long distance relationship. now I made a mistake and he made his too, and now we never talk. and I cant get over him for about seven months now. how do I get over him?
