How to write a song?

I’ve always wanted to write a song! I was just wondering what would you really base the song on? Whats a good topic to sing about? I’m not the greatest person for coming up with rhymes either so does every 2 lines ‘have’ to end with rhyming couplets? Also does anyone know of any music generating software, if I come up with good lyrics I would love to turn it into an actual song with music :D

IT DOESNT NEED TO RHYME BUT REMEMBER SYLOBLES ETC, AND JUST WRITE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO AND MAKE IT SOUND RIGHT WITH THE TUNE, IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU WROTE A SONG THAT WASNT ABOUT LOVE, AS EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS TO BE! :)
