A proposal has about seven main parts to it: - A cover Page - Information about your company, what services you offer and any certifications you have - Your insurance certificate - References or testimonials - A service agreement - A specification outline (what you expect from the client) - Quotes (pricing)
If you have a certification in hazardous materials management, you should include it in your certification page.
If you wish, you can also include your policies on keeping track of the time that your staff works (especially if your staff is on an hourly wage), as well as what types of chemicals you use. Most proposals are a minimum of seven pages long, but try not to exceed thirty pages, as many people will find it too much. Secure your proposal in a neat folder, and don't forget to include your business card!
