Using your preset shapes too,set colors and choose the solid gear shape 5. UNCLICK the boxes for create as a vector and retain style.

go to Effect>inner bevel Use the settings: Width = 20 Smoothness = 10 Depth = 50 Ambiance = 0 Shininess = 0 Angle = 80 Intensity= 50 Elevation = 20

Finally, add a drop shadow and your text.
