How to make a model of a refrigerator
how do you make a model of a refrigerator? Ineed this for a school project. I need to make it out of anything but it has to be small and I have to make it. please help me.
Well, a refrigerator needs a condenser unit to work correctly. A fridge uses freon to cool the air inside the box. Basically an air conditioning unit.
If it has to be a working model you might be a little out of luck. If it doesn’t have to work then you’ll be somewhat alright. Just look up a model of a condenser unit and see what you can do. That’s the place to start.
Condenser unit contains tubing, a reservoir for the freon, a fan, the condenser (basically a radiator), some ducting for the air and wiring. Fun stuff. From there all you need is an insulated box for the air to go to.
I’d say it’s not really something you can make in your back yard unless you’ve got a few months on your hands and the proper tools.
Since it has to be small, maybe a good idea is to cut it out of styrofoam for the shell and make little wire shelves for inside and the grating on the back / paint black…Take care !!
