I am 19 years old, 5 feet 8 inches and I weigh 140. When I went to college last year I weighed no more than 130 and it was great and I felt great. Now that I am home for the summer I have put on 10 pounds and I don't feel as great as I use to. So for the last 3 and a half weeks I have been working out for 60 minutes 4 to 5 times a day. I started eating better, watching calories and trying not to snack as much. But it just seems like I can't do anything to lose this 10 pounds. So I was wondering what could I do to lose 10 pounds in a month before I go back to college. Should I execrise more, eat better, take diet pills, please help?
If you're putting on weight because you're back home and snacking more, there's a good chance you'll lose the weight when you go back to college anyway.
You work out for 60 minutes four to five times a day? Or did you mean four to five times a week? 60 minutes four to five times day would mean you were working about four to five hours a day. That would probably be excessive. One hour four to five times a week would be fine.
Watch your saturated fat and cholesterol intake. Drink plenty of water. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Eat about six smallish meals a day to keep your metabolism going fast so that your body can burn calories quickly.
I asked myself the same question a year ago... I turned twenty this past april. I am 5'6 and weight 140. Last year I was 5'6 amd 130 ... i read up on weight changes that women go through and I am sorry to say that our bodies are going to be changing for the next 2-4 years... Next year you may drop down 15 lb's for no reason... It all has to do with your hormones and the changes your body is going through right now...
