Im tired of failing quizes and test that involve remembering books. How can I comprehend better???
You guys are giving great advice. Some people know they learn best through saying and then hearing things over and over. Some know they learn best through using colours and images. Meganhead summed it up by saying that you need to find out what's best for you. Along with what your guidance counsellor could give you, there are also 'Multiple Intelligences Tests' on the internet (Google it), which ask simple questions to find out your personal learning strengths. One or more of those 'intelligences' will be strong in you, and then you just need to work out study techniques that use your strengths. I could give you a few tips if you find out what your strengths are - funmail me if you'd like.
Write down things that you need to know, but write it on colorful paper or in colorful markers or pens. I always had to use that method when I was in school because it helps you stay interested. If you have to read it out of books, try highlighting in the book (if its not the schools book)
go ask your guidance counsilor. He or she should have tests available for you to take to see which learning method you respond to best (I think there are 8 different types) that will help you out a lot. also, see what your school has to offer for tutoring programs.
Haw, Try and see if you can get the info on a cd and listen to it over and over. This can really help. Familycoach
