How to ask my Mom for singing lessons?
I really want to be in West End theatre, but I’ve looked at auditions and I need to sing and stuff, I wouldn’t mind it, but I can’t sing! How could I ask my mum for singing lessons even though we’re not that close?
start to spend more time with your mum, perhaps go shopping together or do something where you can both have a good chat and both enjoy. then you might start to feel closer. maybe you should try and pay for the singing lessons yourself though? you can’t always rely on your mum. do plenty of work experience and save up, help people out, wash people’s cars, do anything for some money. if you want it that bad, then you should be willing to put the effort in yourself. also, you can research stuff about singing and singing exercises online which might help you, not just lessons. practise practise practise and then try and record yourself and play it back. there’s lots of youtube videos that could help you with singing, acting and dancing.
well try and spend some quality time with your mum. make her a coffee of play a board game with her. then when your both in a good mood bring the subject up and ask her.
