I have Money Tree plant as a gift recently, I placed it in my living room. Unfortunately since then I experience bugs in the house. They are tiny, dark and fast. I wondering if these come from the plant? If so, how can I eliminate these bugs without sacreficing my plant?
Many thanks!
Your local garden store should be able to help you in the bug area - here are some 'care' tips:
Keep the soil/potting soil slightly dry. Too much water is not good for this plant. If possible, add some river sand to the soil to help with the drainage.
Keep the tree in medium light. It can stand sunlight or shade if it has to, but for optimal growth, a bit of both is recommended.
Prune the large leaves if you would like a lot of new leaf growth. Of course, this is not really necessary unless you have inherited a tired looking tree.
Thanks for your advice, I'll will look for that stuff at the store.
