Coat them in batter (usually brushed on, beaten eggs) and then roll in breadcrumbs, seasoned with salt and pepper.

Drop them in very hot oil - usually vegetable for the taste.

Cook for about 10 minutes until golden brown, check one by cutting it open and checking for tenderness, as well as pinkness - if they aren’t done, cook them longer.

* note this is for fresh chicken legs, not frozen. If frozen, thaw them first before starting this process.
