Hey guyz... This is like a pretty petty question.. But since the 1st grade I've been getting extremely good marks in all the subjects.. But this year, they've come down so low, and I can't guess the reason.. Can anyone tell me how to really learn something by heart rather than just mug it up..? And how to be an ace at Maths?
Looks wise I'm normal-looking, but I'm really a geek at heart. My math average is 98 percent...and I still have a life! I don't have the best memory but I still ace tests. The key is take notes in class even when it's not mandatory, and keep those notes organized. Then a few days before the test begin reading the notes and doing self-quizzes (geeky but it works) and I promise you you'll get an A. Just make sure to have the TV off while studying, and listening to classical music (Mozart is the best) increases your brain power. Drink lots of water, and take short breaks to snack on soem fruit or vegetable. These study hours should last an hour and a half (with a 10 minute break) daily for at least three days before the test. you'll find the time! Once you enter Geek world, things will get easier and your memory will improve and studying will be a breeze..trust me. Math is simple. Memorize a few formulas and you know how to complete a few pages worth of math. Good luck!
I guess practise is the key. Are there any help clubs at your school that you can join? At my school there is pretty much a club for every subject that you can go along to and ask for help. If you don't full understand something in class then there's no harm seeing your teacher after the lesson to go over it once more. That's what they're there for. Try buying some books that you can look over now and again and get some with questions in the back that can help you. Above all this you need to be looking after yourself. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and a healthy balanced diet. Never skip breakfast :) Wish you the best of luck! :)
Well focus during class, listen up and do your homework. I was exactly like you but the other way around. I was SUPPER stupid as a kid then I grew up and became a mad genius. But some people are just unable to comprehend, unless they really focus. Find an environment where you can relax and a person who can help you.
