How... Should I enter this writing competition?

it’s too long but I can write the first paragraph if you want to read it:

‘Flick, beep, thump, thump, thump these are the 3 different sounds I hear everyday. It’s 6:00am; everyone including the sun is asleep. Im running but no going anywhere, my legs never allowed to stop, only, by the push of a button. I’m on a treadmill. Now I’m walking, passing unforgettable memories of my weight and me. I’ve always been overweight and not being able to change it … until now. ‘You have to change your lifestyle’, my heart specialist said. You see, when I was 16 months old I had 2 holes in my heart, surgery fixed it, but now, no doctor could fix me, I had to fix myself… on my own. It was up to me to change who I was.
