A standard one
yea, as above, depends on where you buy it. For example, believe it or not, if you have connections to Japan, you can get some great prices on Les Pauls.
But to be honest, stick with a store you TRUST, if it costs you extra $150. That extra cash might save your day if a rare chance of warranty or manufacture defect. To answer your question straight, as of June 2010, a LP Studio Alpine White runs $1033 to $1400 at a chain store. just a guestimate. You know Gibson plant got delayed in the Tennessee floods not long ago.
There are several Gibson Les Paul models. And prices vary widely.
The current average market price for a traditional vintage one is around $ 3,000.00
In recent years, however, Epiphone has been building knock offs of the same that play fairly well and cost much less.

Merry Christmas !!
awwwww. but then an Epiphone is like its red headed stepchild. j/k Seriously, the Epiphone is a low budget model
Don't get a Gibson les Paul, get an Epiphone les paul. Same exact thing as a Gibson Les Paul but WAYYY Cheaper.
Really depends on where you purchase it.
