you boil it for about 20 mintutes is that ok and did you actullay know how long anyway byyeee

It depends on the sausage - if you’re talking about a bratwurst style sausage, then you should boil for at least 40 minutes or so.

When you take it out of the water, you can tell that it’s done by the texture as well as cutting open & taking a look at the inside, or with a cooking thermometer. They should be at an internal temperature of 160 to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.

you don’t boil brats you cook them hot water approx. 180 degrees , drop the brats in , they’ll sink, when they pop up and to the top, use a meat thermometer, when they reach at least 175, you can remove them from the water, when cooled you can freeze them or grill them or pan fry them
