How is writing in America different than in other Countries?

America has a unique way of writing papers, explicitly stating the purpose of a text is early in the paper and getting right to the point. In other countries however, this form of writing could be seen as rude. How do those countries structure their papers?

Answer #1

Australian schools teach us to cover everything general about the topic we are writing about, and we pretty much get right to the point at the beginning also

Answer #2

the philippines is one of those countries where tact is very much practiced. choice of words is important in our writing and as much as possible, we use the words that would hurt less (if you know what I mean).

in formal papers, instead of saying ‘his stupidity is …’ we’ll probably say, ‘this lapse in judgment is …’

we sort of sugarcoat some things too to soften the blow if we’ll deliver bad news or if we’re angry.

so yeah.
