How is prismacolor pencils better than regular colored pencils?

I understand prismacolor markers in the art industry and I have a set ordered for myself. But I was wondering about prismacolor pencils for coloring sketches. How much different is it than the ordinary colored pencils?

I haven’t used them much, but I pretty much agree completely with the prior answer. They are definitely a lot brighter and really blend a lot better than normal ones. They’re more enjoyable to color with because you can achieve the color you want a lot better.

I was using them in my art class and the colors are brighter, they blend better…they’re just overall better than regular ones.. you’ll when you get them!
