All that means is that you’ve sacrificed an hour that you could have spent doing something more constructive.
Well, every hour you use doing anything is an hour of your life. What that is saying is that watching TV is a waste of an hour. Hope I helped! :) P.S. I disagree with that, I think an hour of TV or a movie every once in a while isn’t a waste if you enjoy it
