Tell that to who invented the game, because that is how it is. Paper=Scissors: Scissors cuts Paper=Rock ; Paper covers rock Paper= Paper (none) Scissors=Rock: Rock cause you can smash it. Scissors vs. Itself : Nothing Rock Vs Rock = Nothing.

It doesn’t have to destroy the rock, it need only cover it…nobody is supposed to actually throw the rock.
