How exactly do you wright a song. Does it have to rime.
if you play a musical instrument, then this would really help. just play around, and mess around with playing anything, and sooner or later something will come together, and sound good! its fun to write when your with people and having fun, or whatever. good ideas come from all over. and then once you have the music part, just start humming notes that will sound good. words will start to come to mind, and then things will start to form, you know? things will come together just nicely.
just have fun, and make it yours. rhyme, or not, whatever works for you
Seeing I'm a song writer but haven't wrote a song in a while,I usually let the lyrics show me the beat, most of my music have all been inspired by Slipknot songs. I don't always rhyme but I try to if it's a random song or very serious, other than that I just write what I feel and am looking at while writing it. My next album Twisted Love is actually going to let each song make it's own beat.
I place myself in the main characters shoes and write as they walk on through the entire song.
No it doesn't have to rhyme. Song writing is a talent that comes naturally. The writer usually writes about something that has meaning to them - it can be a song for their lover, something about their past, something that's happened to them or someone they know, etc...
The possibilites are endless. I'd suggest keeping a pen/note pad with you at all times so that if you think up an idea for a song while your out, you can right it down so you don't lose it.
when I write songs, I pick one topic im really focused on, then just write whats on my mind.
make sure you dont change the subject when your writing.
most songs do rhyme, but they dont have to.
although its good if you can get it to rhyme :D
a good way to practice writing songs is to take a song you like and change word to make it very different
Most songwriters do the music first, then set the music to words. No, they don't have to rhyme.
