How do you become a profiler?

I have been in the medical field for over 30 years. I have incountered people in jail wanting you to belive they have a some type of cardic problem,or psychotic problem so you’ll feel for them and let them go. I have delt with Bi-polar to Pathological Schizophrenics. Some are real and some are mearly an act. Being a profiler means you have to know which is which. You have to look this person in the eyes, watch their body movement, and listen for the quiver in their voices.I am in charge of a Search and Rescue team and when I interview a family for a missing person, I always, always have a second person with me. One to ask the questions, and the other to watch eye and body movements. Being a profiler means you have to get into the persons mind and make them belive in you and don’t lye to them, they will know. The hardest thing is being objective, don’t jump to conclusions. If you move to fast, you’ll miss something. If you move to slow you’ll loose some-one.
