How do you teach a small dog to like a big dog?

So weve had this chuwawa and she wont stop pooping everywhere I’ve tried everything from going outside to using a litter box. Well a friend told my mom if you get a dog that is litter box trained they will help the other dog to understand what to do. But when we got the bigger dog the chuwawa doesn’t like her and the big dog is scared of her what do I do. The big dog is mixxed and not sure of what. Please help

Confine her to the room that YOU are in…don’t let her have the run of the house. Then WATCH her constantly…the second she starts looking for a place (and you will recognize her “signals” that she’s about to go)…scoop her up and take her out…EVERYTIME. When you can’t watch her, put her in a crate.

You’re now correcting a bad habit, so it will take about a month…where if you’d done this with her as a pup, it would have taken about 2 weeks.
