I know this sounds retarded, but I don't know how to use a tampon. I have them, but I never use and and I think it's more than about time. I know I'm doing something wrong and they include those little sheets where they show you how to use 'em, but I still can't get it, lol. I don't want to waste 'em anymore and my period is coming up in a couple of weeks...
what you go it you sit on the toilet with your legs apart. the point the tapon upwards alittle bit. Make sure to have your fingers on the fingergrip thing. while sliding it in if it feels funny then shift it alittle. it may feel weird a even hurt a little putting it in but thats ok. then once ut fingers touch your boby that means you have it in far enough. then with the other hand push on the thin tube that the string comes through. the tapon will be released then. it may feel funny but they do at first. and make sure to leave the out or you cant get it out! hope that helps!

It's not retarded, almost half of my cabin on my college freshman retreat had no idea. I know my first time, I could only get it in halfway. Eventually it gets easier. I don't know what the issue was at first, but I guess it is just something you have to get use to. I may take a few periods.
