How do I make others gothic like me?

k I don’t get why preps and emos/goths hate eachother!! It;s like Blacks and Whites!! so ridiculous. I can say that because the fact that the guy I love is emo and my best friends are preps and hate eachother has ruined my life.

No, but you are stereotyping a tad when you say you hate preps, not all are the same and you can’t just say you hate one type or people. but yeah, no if you have no-one else to be friends with then be a loner, whatever floats ya boat.

Im a prep. But I love goths! Theyre so fun to be with. I like everybody i dont go around disliking people for what they like. Thats completely wrong. There’s nothing wrong with me being a prep. Some prep’s are extremely snobby and i have to admit some of my prep friends are stuck up and have an attitude. But thats not because they’re “preps” thats because they’re trying to be something they’re not. Me, I can be a million different people with everybody. If somebody is goth, I can be goth with them. Ghetto? I can be ghetto too. Maybe you should tell you friend maybe to learn how to have alot of different personalities. [: hope i helped.

Define the norm. You can’t really. The dictionary defines ‘normal’ as “conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural” - and if this is the case then why is it so difficult to befriend a person who prefers to conform? A conforming individual may also like goth music and goth interests just as much as you do, but prefer to blend into the background. Everyone’s different. Not all supposedly ‘normal’ people are boring and hate goths.

You’re free to choose friends who will be either a positive or negative influence on your life - your choice.

yeah! the goths in our school have they’re little goth groups but they’ll still hang out with everybody!
