How do I get songs from my iPod to the PC?

Basically, my computer crashed and had to be sent back to the shop, and as a last resort, they had to scrap everything from my computer, so I now have no songs at all (a bit of a bummer when I had over 1000)

But I have an iPod, so I re-installed itunes and want to know if I can get the songs from my iPod onto iTunes, so they’re atleast on my computer.

However, I have no idea whatsoever what I’m doing, ‘cause all I’ve seen so far is ‘sync’, and I don’t want to replace everything on my iPod :S

Open the folder with all the music on your ipod [you may have to open from my computer] then drag and drop to ITunes? Works with my mp3. Either that or just download Limewire and get all of the songs again. Sorry if Im no help.

oh. ok well my dad got me this disc program you can down load on your computer called “I Music Tools Essentials” and you can buy it from a few different stores im not really sure which ones you could probably look the disc up on the interenet or something… but basically you download it and then you can download your music from your ipod to your PC because ipods arent made to download music from your actual ipod to your computer so you need special software
