How do I get my dog to stop barking?

I have a 7 month old chiwawa and she barks at nothing I can’t even sleep at night I don’t know how to get her to stop I have allready tried the crate and it don’t work so could you please help me. no shock collers please

Throw water at it LOL joke joke LOL LOl joke. when our dog barks we let it in side just put some news paper down if it aint house down.

The spray is citronella…the same stuff they sell to keep mosquitos away…it’s natural, and non toxic. Do they make a collar small enough for a Chi?? THAT I don’t know.

we had this problem with our dog, and we bort a collar, NOT! a shock collar, but when the dog barked, it sprayed water or a lemon spray under there throat, its not harmful, it did the trick to are dog , also when our dogs bark, we blow a horn, or a whislte an they stop barking because there wonderin what the hell it was lol good luck xx

Chihuahua’s are very vocal dogs, they are known for barking. Try putting 2 pennies in an empty soda can and taping the top. Rattle it near her, not right next to her, but from a few feet away. This will frighten her a little bit, but don’t worry, she won’t begin to hate you :) Eventually, she will learn not to bark as much. Hope this helps!
