How do I get a nerd out of my ipod hole?
I got a nerd (it’s a small beadlike piece of candy) in the headphones hole on my ipod! I stuck in a little needlelike thing to try and retrive it but it just cracked the nerd and shoved it up further! This is horrible, can anyone help?!?!?! Thanks sooo much in advance!!! I will nevee keep candy and an ipod in the same pocket again! How could I be so stupid?
Yeah, right now I’m chipping it and then sucking it out, but it’s really wedged. Is there a chance I will damage the hole permanantly?
It should be fine, as long as you don’t hit the sides much, on the sides theres 2 small lines which are receptors, so that they connect with the lines on the headphones so you actually get sound haha.
Haha it’s just the headphone insert (it’s got a bottom, and it’s like a hollow cylinder, so you don’t have to worry about the nerd actually getting INSIDE your iPod haha), so just get like a needle or a pin or something to break the nerd into smaller pieces. If you break it up enough, it’ll just fall out when you tip it, then take a q-tip to clean out any nerd remnants. =]
ok 1: how’d it get there!!!??!!! and 2: try shaking it loose, then sucking it out. :)
have you tried sucking it out? maybe with the vacuum cleaner?
