how do I find my pictures on my laptop?

my laptop has a SD slot for my memory card 4 my camera and I put it in but nothing pops up.. so how do I get the pictures off of it .

Assuming your laptop is a PC, most of the time you just have to go to “My Computer” or “computer” if you using a windows newer than XP, then right-click on the the sd card under “removable devices” then click explore
