How come my sims3 game is freezing during a move?

I moved my sims into a new house but now I cant go into build or buy mode, or edit neighbourhood its been days but it still sais they are in the process of moving even long after they have finished. They can do everything normal but I cant change anything

reinstall windows to fix a game? lol I think not! :|

listen dont worry… just back up all your files. they are located in: your documents - electronic arts - sims3

something like that anyway..

just right click your sims 3 folder - copy - paste to desk top..

this is the folder with all your saves etc in ;)

right now you can uninstall and reinstall and not lose anything your already done :)

its the 1st thing id do if I was having trouble with a game ;)

What operating system do you have? windows xp/vista/7? when I have this info I can give you some links to fix it

Uninstall, reinstall, download the patches and if all else fails reinstall windows. Or just tell me in detail the problem I may be able to help more if I have more info.
